Lg drt389h setup problems
Click to expand Thanks for your help Gavtech! I realised that I was wrong about expecting it to tune to the Sky box last night.
I tried recording saved stuff from the sky box and even though the DVDR looked like it was recording, nothing was being recorded. The problem seemed to be between the sky box and the DVDR even though I tried every possible setup opton. I tried tuning it with a conventional aerial as you suggested, to get past that stage, and it tuned to the basic Irish channels. However, now when I try to record stuff from the sky box the record function won't work. Last edited: Sep 30, Broadz Distinguished Member.
Hi Broadz, 'record' was operational even though nothing was being recorded to disc. There's no error message. You're the man Gavtech, it's working perfectly now! Thanks all for your replies. All the best Hi, I got a similar setup, though i use Virgin, instead of Sky. My issue is even more fundamental: I cannot hear any sound or just a few twits when i watch from the recorder any material coming out from the V box. Alliecat45 Standard Member.
So I thought perhaps it was 1 of the scart leads so I replaced them with new ones None of the settings have been changed on either the sky box or the dvd recorder. However I do get a picture if I turn the dvd recorder off watching the tv thru the AV2 outlet on it to the tv.
Anyone got any suggestions? Sky are being less than helpful so are Panasonic Cheers. Alliecat45 said:. Thanks I'll give it a go!! Is the IC programed? Log in. Install the app. JavaScript is disabled. Does this sound right: When i put a DVD-R disc in there is no initialisation procedure and when it records there is no 'empty title' in the menu if there is any left over space on the disk.
I would prefer if the disk just started automatically to avoid these menus altogether but don't think it is possible. The USB facility is great but painfully slow, I often have to wait a few minutes after selecting a movie on the pen drive.
Has anybody else heard of these problems, any help appreciated. There is no recent product. JavaScript appears to be disabled in your browser.
